San Francisco Airport is approximately 25 miles from the International House.

Parking

Parking in Berkeley during the week can be challenging, there’s no free parking on campus or in the surrounding area. Most campus lots are reserved for permit holders Monday–Friday, 5 a.m. – 5 p.m., and visitor parking is only available in designated paid garages.


Recommended Visitor Parking Locations
• Stadium Garage (2175 Gayley Rd): Closest to the eastern campus / Memorial Stadium
• Law School / University Hall Lot: Convenient for central campus access
• Underhill Garage (College Ave): Open 24/7, slightly further from the venue

• Daily visitor permits: $10.50 – $16.50
• Hourly rates vary by garage
• Pay at meter machines, use Pay-by-Space numbers, or the PayByPhone app

Tips
• Parking is toughest Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• No overnight parking is available (lots close 2 a.m. – 5 a.m.)
• Public street and metered parking is strictly enforced
• Consider taking Uber, Lyft, taxi, or public transit if possible
• There's a BART station 1 mile from the International House.
